Women Entrepreneurs Are Facing A Crisis—It’s Time to Invest

We’re building a movement of women and men who want to change the funding landscape for women entrepreneurs in Texas—and beyond. Together, we can break down the barriers that are holding back millions of women in business.

BankHER officially launches on April 10th.

What is a BankHER Circle?

A BankHER Community Funding Circle is a collective of individuals who come together to create an additional funding source for woman-owned businesses. Members contribute their financial resources, knowledge, and networks to fund no-strings-attached grants that help women entrepreneurs grow and thrive. This isn’t about charity. This is about equity and empowerment. This is about providing the resources to ensure women-owned businesses can thrive, grow, and create lasting impact in their communities.

WE ARE THE BANK!

Women entrepreneurs have long been underfunded and overlooked. But it’s time to change that. BankHER Community Funding Circles offer a powerful and immediate way to make a difference:

  1. Pooling Resources: Members contribute financially each quarter to create a fund that directly supports women entrepreneurs. The contribution functions as a donation to the Her Texas Fund.
  2. Selection Process: Circle members review applications from local women entrepreneurs and select one or more to receive a grant. Circle lead(s) work directly with Her Texas to finalize the selection and choose the recipient.
  3. Grant Distribution: The selected founders receive the funds through a grant, empowering them to grow their businesses without the burden of repayment or restrictive conditions.
