At Her Texas, we celebrate the extraordinary women who inspire us with their creativity, leadership, and dedication to making a difference. Today, we’re proud to spotlight Darlene Jane, founder of Jane & Jensen Vintage, whose work in El Paso, Texas, is breathing new life into her community.

Darlene’s shop, Jane & Jensen Nostalgia Shop, is more than a place to find beautiful vintage home decor, art, and furnishings. It’s a community hub where local entrepreneurs showcase their artisanal goods and participate in vibrant markets. Her efforts have not only propelled small businesses forward but have also helped energize the Downtown El Paso area with creativity and connection.

A New Chapter: Innovation Meets Tradition
Recently, Darlene made the bold decision to close her shop’s physical location. But this isn’t the end—it’s a fresh beginning. She’s transitioning to A Vintage Pop-Up, a permanent downtown space, where she’ll continue to share her curated collections.

What’s more, she’s collaborating with Tinta Sangre Gallery and Event Space in Socorro to host markets and events that celebrate the historical charm of the area. By combining her love for vintage with her passion for supporting local businesses, Darlene is opening new doors for creativity and connection in her community.

Rooted in Inspiration, Driven by Passion
Darlene credits her mother as her greatest inspiration. “Her courage to continue and evolve has always been a source of inspiration and adoration,” she shares.

Her love for animals is another driving force in her life. Darlene’s family recently expanded when they became a “foster failure” with their beloved pup, Yoda. She also actively supports Two Rivers Dog Rescue, helping connect families with their future fur babies.
